I tested the 370Z coupe quite a bit before I bought my 35i as had a a couple of test drives, one of them being an all day one and I do agree with Plato that is is the more sports car to drive fast, but then I tested the 35i. Look at which one I bought! ;-)
As a day to day car it beats the 370Z hands down! I think on the road the 35i handles very well at speed. It is a little oversteer heavy when pushing hard (I noticed that 35i had the 19's on an this can have an effect there) and I agree with Plato that it may have a bit too much grip at the rear (something I would have said about my old 3.0si Coupe also), but don't forget this was yet another pointless track test! Get a road car out on the bloody road where it was designed to be driven, then give us your verdict!! Interesting this was the opposite verdict to the one Top Gear gave when they tested them together.
Saying that the 370Z is still a great car. I'm glad I bought the one I have though.
