Fiesta ST-3

Just wanted to say bye to the forum, this seemed the most appropriate place!

Cheers for all the help and insight, this forum has been a real bonus through my Zed ownership. Even sold my car via the forum :)

I'm now the proud owner of a new Fiesta ST-3. Already discovered that the illuminated scuff plates are 'made of glass' and likely to fail within a year :D

Thanks all 8)

I haven't really got any decent pics yet, but here is one:

I thought the Golf was a bit bland in the flesh, aside from the dual twin pipes. Rocket charged under the hood, but I think the Fiesta is the one for real world driving. It's a close call, same money and might have gone for the Golf, but overall cost and running costs seem pretty good value for the Ford.

Love that colour 8)

These were on my radar when I swapped my old M3 because I just love how highly rated they are and I love Fords as well and I would imagine it to be a cracking fun drive every time you get behind the wheel, enjoy it.

Thanks Lee!

I haven't opened her up yet at all. Mixed messages about running in. Ford don't give you a ST specific manual or supplement, which is a bit carp. But I found one the Americans get and it says there's no need to run the car in at all. I've read in other places not to go over 4K for the first 1km.

Some of the toys are really nice compared to my Zed, keyless entry and start button etc.

Please tell me you have mounttuned it from the get-go. First thing we did the day after collection to our ST3.

It's a fantastic motor and far better to drive than my new S3, which is a fast but dull in comparison.

Oh, and the ST3 MP215 delivered 44mpg on a recent trip to cornwall and back, amazing.
