Well it's arrived and it's just a little bit epic - so far really enjoyed the experience certainly sings along - dealing with M-Sport has been great on all counts .

I had the a induction kit and sports exhaust fitted and I'm pretty delighted by the way it burbles,
Nice one Rob
I live close to the M-SPORT factory and often see and hear their cars on the road !

Where is it you stay Alan? I remember when M sport took over at Dovenby. Used to get a good bar meal at the Ship Inn opposite the entrance but that was a lot of years ago! :)

Stayed in Cockermouth and Seaton for about 10 years. Worked at Grants and Cumbrian Seafoods in Maryport until I came back North when we had the wee man.

My wife is from Clifton and Seaton. Loved my time there. A great place.

Bloody hell its a small world I'm in Seaton

Had a wee place in Low Seaton ( old miners cottage) with views across the river to Stainburn and then moved to a Victorian place (modern, lol) just further along at Church Road. Hope Seaton still has the best Chinese going in Kowloon!

Best stop hi jacking this thread. See you on the Braemar trip . :D

OP now you've had this for a while care to give a detailed review?

parked mine with the dislok always on so imagine my shock yesterday when i come to the car and theirs a giant hole where the lock should be and the bodywork prised out.... it needs a new door where someone has tried to gain entry... getting bored of it now and as much as i love the car i simply cant get over how often these fiesta's are nicked.. this was in broad daylight in a busy car park. the didn't gain entry and luckily its only the door thats damaged . i worry where-ever its parked apart from home.

Cheers Everyone couple if weeks off work coming up so looking forward to getting to know it better. Yep private plate which was fitting as it number 002 of the limited editions.

I can see a few summer evening Scottish highland drives coming up :driving:

Freddie went for a recent wash and brush up at AMDetails in Elgin with a full GTechniq protection package - some swirls picked up during dealer prep removed and I'm pretty delighted with the results.

I'm seriously chuffed with the car- feels the way a hot hatch should and the handling pack is now available so will probably get that fitted in September. Really glad I went for the M-Sport variant over the ST200- particularly as it since come out that a lot of the ST200 upgrades were stealthy fitted on all STs from last year.

hows this thing treating you now.. I've waxed on so much about these i hope its still living up to or exceeding your expectations... if it hasn't been stolen from your door step anyway. how do you find it to the fiat abarth?? have you had chance to really get it on a long background and wring its neck yet?? can you make a video on the sound if possible please.

Beedub.. its absolutely brilliant, The Big car has not moved much in anger the last couple of weeks as the Fiesta has been so much fun to drive , it really hooks into country roads and is so adjustable - whizzing and burbling as it goes; I'm in contact with a good deal of other M-Sport owners and we all love them.

The big question is what to do about the suspension as mine is a 2016 MY it shares its set up with the ST200 (very strange move by Ford) - but the M-Sport handling package is now out which matched Bilsten dampers with Eibachs and slight increase in track . sits quite new on the market there is not many customers who've gone for it I'm hoping to get a ride at least in one that has had it fitted .

To be honest the Abarth was great fun and was brilliant around town and very tight B roads but tended to get found out on big scottish routes - Not the M-Spot ST it flows brilliantly and the exhaust howls

8) 8) :driving: :driving:

i didn't no about the handling package!!!

the car handles so well as it, I'm very nervous about making changes... especially for my DD... I'm not quite sure i understand the changes made by ford, slightly softer it seems , mines a 2014 car and tbh it is harsh. i think i can see some of the m-sport parts in my future!! i particularly love the spoiler.

this video = the fiesta ST at its best... engine package, new pads... nothing else.

I've had a hunch for a while that large sections of the NC-500 route around scotland are best explored in a Hot Hatch rather than a Sports Car due to the tightness of the roads in the far west - so with winter approaching up here - I decided to take the M-Sport back out on the NC-500 ; hunch seemed to be spot on the car felt like it was made for these tight roads and the Quaff LSD allowed the car to be hooked into corners.

Next quandary is that the Handling Pack which is signed off by Malcolm Wilson is available and transforms the car according to those that have driven it, but to be honest as mine is based on the 2016 ST and therefore has the ST200 suspension set up already installed - i don't want to wreck what is a well balanced day to day hot hatch.

Apologies to those who have seen some of these Photos on Facebook
