I'm doing some research for an upcoming program...

As orginally supplied..in the UK

What tyres were fitted to E85Ms?

What front brake pack was fitted as standard /optionally

Was the sat nav standard?

What was the basic and best audio systems fitted?

Was extended leather just an option on Z4ms?
 
Tyres from memory, continentals?

Brakes are OEM CSLs, no options.

Sat nav extra

No idea about the stereo, used it once in about 14yrs.

  1. Tyres were Continental SportContact M3 (225/45r18 front + 255/40r18 rear)
  2. Brakes were 345x28mm front + 328x20mm rear, both with single-pot calipers. No upgrades/options were available
  3. Navigation system Professional was an optional extra (£1495)
  4. Audio options were:
    • Standard = BMW Business Radio with single CD and MP3 compatibility
    • Upgrade to 6-CD changer (£295)
    • Upgrade to Hi-Fi loudspeaker system (£500)
    • Upgrade to LOGIC7 Professional Hi-Fi loudspeaker system (£710)
  5. Leather
    • Individual Extended Nappa leather (£2840)
    • Full Nappa leather (£1915)
    • Individual Bi-colour New England leather (£535)
    • Individual Nappa leather (£535)

The Hi-Fi loudspeaker system had 10 speakers (option 676) and the Logic 7 was the DSP 10 speaker set-up (Option 677).

There is no mention of Extended Leather in the brochure I have for non-M facelifts.

All I can see is that extended leather was available in the 3L coupe, but not the roadster for some reason.
