Hello !
I have a few questions regarding winter tyres... I've just bought my Z4 e85 3.0; and I realised my winter wheels are (all four) 205/50 r17 (H - up to 210 km/h).
First question : is this size (205 50 r17) normal ? It doesn't seem to be popular at all
Second question : is the H rating authorised ? Shouldn't it be W (up to 250 km/h - matching the car's specifications for max speed) ?
Third question : I'm 100% sure that I will get rid of the summer runflats. But as I also need to replace the winter tyres I wonder if non-runflats are also a much better choice in this case, performance-wise? Note that I don't care if I get a flat tyre in a cold winter night
.
Fourth queston : Should I buy these new tyres in the "standard" size 225/45/17 ?
Oh and if someone can recommend me some good winter tyres or give a link to a topic discussing this, that'd be GREAT !
Thank you for your help!!
