Ferrari for Eric Clapton

Saw a video of the car on YouTube a while back..

This one.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ue30EB6io0

Ive seen him live in concert a few times and I am quite good friends with his Daughter who lives in Doncaster.

I got complementary tickets to his last gig with Steve Winwood which was an awesome gig..

He does deserve it. A very very talented bloke.

My original 'jammy bugger' which referred to Mr Clapton is now directed at you!

Thats what you get for sniffing dustbins full of coke and letting your kids fall out of skyscraper windows.

Bit harsh that, not the coke, can't begin to comprehend the loss of a child, certainly not worth the cost of a Ferrari.

.....as for the rest, he is exceptionally talented, seen him play a few times, just wish him happiness

Harsh it may be, but a four-year old child is entitled to assume that his parents will take the best possible care of him....and an opening 6' x 4' window on the 53rd floor of a skyscraper can hardly be described as safe can it.

Just something I feel strongly about thats all. :)

And we haven't even started on him nicking a Beatles girlfriend, the cad!!

I thought that this was a series - all the same car effectively - but modded to the owners spec and carrying their initials after the model number.....Ferrari were being a bit cagey about who'd bought one but its obviously the usual PR game. I bet Don Draper is at the bottom of it.... :driving:

$4.75 million seems a bit over the top, doesn't it? I mean, it's a car.
(The Telegraph article doesn't seem to list the price, but it's prominent elsewhere).

Jealous? Not sure. I can't even imagine how much money I'd need to have before I'd even consider paying that much for a car. Seems like there'd be better things to spend that kind of money on, even if it wasn't for oneself.

Tax dodge?
