I caught a bit of 5th Gear the other night and they were doing a feature on the new Ferrari California. It's quite different in terms of looks compared to the 430, 599, Enzo etc. plus it has quite a snazzy looking retractable roof, an all new V8. Pretty pricey though, I think they said it was around 140,000 pounds

Just wondered if anybody else watched it and any thoughts on it. I think it looks pretty awesome and the lines are really good with the roof on and off.

I like the way the roof hides itself. My only motivation for ever owning One of these beauties would be for the simple fact it says California. Otherwise, I'd be more inclined in owning an alpina zed or a new alpina b7. That's just my opinion, though. The ferrari is still a nice car and owning one would be a dream come true.

Thanks guys, I have to say I do like it, the interior looks very upmarket and I have vowed to own a Ferrari at some point in my life, even if it's an old one. I just need to get it out of my system. Maybe by the time I can afford one the California will have dropped to an affordable price!!!
