Feline defence against being turned into a helicopter

I am numb.... :(

F@@@ a Duck....why oh why oh why......

That's just as cruel....

Perhaps she trying to feed it up so that she can turn it into a decent sized rug once its time is up - which won't be that long away, given the size of the thing...

Again, the question is - why?

The woman in the photo is from the rescue home, the owner just died.

Hard to say why this has happened really, I suppose a combination of gluttony on the moggies part and it must be a house cat with maybe nowhere to exercise.

A diet, a bit of exercise and a few mice to catch and he'll be OK :D

Think he may need a nip & tuck after the diet if he's going to look his best...

I take it back.... that serves me right for not actually reading the article! Hopefully they'll get the animal back to a normal kind of size and weight...

and we were told recently our two are 'overweight' - one is 3.96kg, the other 4.8kg :o

looking at that article I'm not so sure about it, cruel just cruel :(

Give it a job in banking....................

Seriously though, that is terrible. We have one lab (the brown one) who has a propensity to being overweight, so have to watch her food intake. She once got into the food cupboard and ate half a sack of dog food before we caught her - I'm sure she would eat herself to death given half a chance. Owners who let their pets get to this stage are being totally cruel and irresponsible, shame it wasn't caught earlier.

I'd want to be sure that's not a cross breed Maine Coon before condemming the owner. Obese cats don't normally have a head in proportion to their size. The one in the OP's post looks in proportion. I'd love a Maine Coon cat, but I think it might eat my Jack Russell terrier...
