Feels like a new car..

I’ve had my 3.0si coupe for almost 9years in which time I’ve toyed with selling it, thought of upgrading to a M and not really appreciating it in recent times-perhaps doing <700 miles pa had a part to play in that.
However, the appreciation has bounced back, hence it feeling like a new car and a few simple changes have really transformed the car.

The changes:
RTAB’s replaced
CDV removed and ZHP gear knob added
Wheel Alignment
Michelin PS4’s
Spark plugs replaced

I’m not sure which one in particular was the winner but am leaning to the RTAB’s and wheel alignment. The drive back from the tyre place was superb and other bits have just added to the drive resulting in it being the best it’s been in my tenure. Looking forward to giving it a proper drive when we can.

Glad you enjoy it again. They are special cars (but I'm obviously biased).
I had a wheel alignment done to my car in the spring. It definitely made a difference.
And what a fantastic looking (and rare) color combination you got! I really like it.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did the RTAB replacement cost? And did you just replace with OEM bush?

Good to hear that the changes you have made have transformed your car.

Especially as Amarone seats with Piano Black trim is a pretty rare combination, but looks stunning!

It was in for a service and I think they charged about 2 hours Labour so c.£130.
The parts were Meyle HD.

The interior is showing some aged related cracks so the next project will be to address that.

Had a amarone in mine before I got it. Not a colour I could live with and it's now black leather. Don't understand the wankfest over what's basically brown leather. Same goes for red.

I get an an alignment check done every year around MOT or servicing time.
