Feel good/feel bad

Just grabbed lunch at a fast food place and a homeless guy came in. He can't have been any older than my eldest son (22) so I bought his lunch for him. There but for the grace of etc etc. That made me feel a little better but quite sad that someone that young (and I know there are younger) is on the street

Rant over

To be fair I know 22 year olds who are practically on the scrap heap because they can't get a job........add in homeless and you've got next to no chance.

Good man

Good on you Stuart. We've got a homeless guy who has lived under a building in our town for years. We occasionally a bag of chips or some snadwiches for him. He always very skeptical at first, but is very polite and eventually seems genuinely appreciative...

Thanks all. I've given money in the past, now I offer to buy food. 9 times out of 10 it's accepted. Just the fact that I have a son his age bought it home quite hard. Still pretty bummed about it.

Good on you. It's really sad that we can't get this country better organised and create jobs by making things here rather than buying them from abroad
