The time has come for her to change SWMBO's car and I'm pleased to say that after years of persistence, I've finally convinced her of the merits of BMW ownership 
So, looking to sell her car (Renault Megane CC - don't ask) and an old Suzuki Grand Vitara that we keep so we're not stuck when the snow hits us! The old bus is great for that, but we can't really justify taxing, MOTing and insuring another vehicle just to use for a couple of weeks of the year.
The current plan is to replace both with one 4x4 and we're thinking of an old shape X3, possibly a 3.0d on something like an 07 plate. Does anyone have any experience of them? Especially if they are any good on icy / snowy roads.... Interested to know your thoughts on the matter...
