Zymol leather cleaner, work it in with a soft shoe brush and wipe away the dirt with a cloth. Amazing stuff and gets rid of the shiny leather look caused by dye, dirt and sweat accumulations.

No need for a conditioner?

Yes but I don't have any particular recommendation for a conditioner. I tried a lot of leather cleaners to get rid of the shiny look of 11 year old leather and the Zymol did it effortlessly.

Edit - No stock it seems. I bought it from cleanyourcar.com for about the same price but they're out of stock presently as well.

A lot depends here on actual colour & obviously condition as in does it need cleaning & sealing or does it need colouring ?
If black then you are on a winner as 99p black liquid shoe dye works a treat to colour the white bits

I've used shoe polish before but that wears off over a period of time. Thankfully my seats are black, but after cleaning they do show up the marks a lot.
Shoe dye it is then.

I recommend Dr Leather wipes for convenience and ease of use. They clean really well and leave a nice matt finish. You can then add a prtoection which prevents dye trnasfer from clothing. Depending on your .leather type there is usually no need to condition it. Most modern automotive leathers are coated. If you apply a conditioner this just sits on the coating attracting more dirt and is what gives the shine to the leather.

Have a look at their website http://www.drleather.com/Leather-Cleaners/Our-Leather-Cleaner-Range.aspx plus I've always found them very helpful with advice

Meguiars leather balm, Smells amazing an leaves the seats matt, not shiny.

I must admit I use the kit that came with my leather settee and baby wipes (which contain lanolin) for spills/marks.

Link below says not to use lanolin? (Avoid products with Neatsfoot oil, lanolin, mink oil, collagen, aloe) Hmmm! I'm sure I've seen a product or two using the oils as well.

Confusing it is! The first well known car leather product I googled says "Leather Forever is a lanolin based product that is made up from a gentle blend of natural soap, oils and waxes"

Meguiars also has a conditioner that contains aloe vera.

I used to use gliptone (still use their cleaner), but now i use some more generic conditioner (so also ment for leather furneture and such) that is based on wax(beeswax I think) which I found under my parents' kitchen sink...(I think its some traditional product from germany...)
