Favour??? MC Standard Ride Height Measurement

Hello fellow MC owners - I'm after a favour if anyone has:
- 5 minutes and a tape measure
- standard rear suspension
- standard wheel / tyre combo
- about 30k miles (this bit is not essential though!)

Would really like a measurement of the standard ride height, from ground to arch lip, directly through the centre of the wheel, as per the following photo:

Long story short, I'm 'experimenting' with suspension again and considering running the standard rear spring in favour of my current GC 'coilover' setup.
I'm pretty sure my current set up is lower than standard, but not sure by how much.

I know it's not a big job to swap out the rear springs, but if the measurement is a mile off then I'll probably look at other options!

Many thanks in advance, James

You should really measure from the wheel centre that way you eliminate the influence of the tyre, but I only did what was asked :)

Tread depth approx. 6mm

Hi Mike

Thanks for the info, very helpful. Sorry for the late reply also!

Can appreciate what you are saying regarding tyre tread depth / measuring from the centre of the wheel but the 'approximate' measurement is good enough for me

Thanks again for your help, another example of what a great forum community this is.

Cheers, James

It would be great to make a thread with all the standard and lowered Zeds ride hight data, measured from the wheel centre, as many of us with coilovers would benefit from knowing their options ;-)
Mine is currently set to 345mm front and 350mm rear because of the scraping problems
Last year it was 340 and 340 and it handled perfectly.
Although its not an M
