Favorite Beer?

Wow where do you begin - this week I've been on the following:

Theakstons Old Peculiar
Shepherds Neame 1698
Abbot Ale

All fairly dark but they do go well with a nip of Laphroaig

You're obviously a man of exceptional taste :D
Duvel has been my absolute favourite beer since I first tasted it at the Masons Arms, Strawberry Bank, Cartmel Fell in the Lake District back in about 1992 ! Nowt to touch it imho :icb:

Steady Rolling Man - a 5.2% pale ale from Deya Brewing Company - absolutely delicious. Only ever seen it on tap in CAMRA rated real ale pubs.

Marstons Owd Rodger. Two pints is more than enough though.

Found a great bar in Bardolino on Lake Garda. Not only great selection of beers from all over the world but boasted the correct glass for each beer. Not east to drink this one but managed after a a bit of practice.

I used to love a pint of Bass, but haven't seen it for sale anywhere for years. :(

You can still get it around here in Staffordshire but it’s not as good as it was 20 years ago  But as you said once upon a time it was a great pint

Watching the Remembrance Service at the Albert Hall with a pint of Spitfire.
Better than any Fokker!

Shepherd Neame brew it in Faversham.

Back in the mid 90s I was working in Sittingbourne and most of my workmates did frequent booze cruises, including my boss who lived in Faversham.

It was cheaper for him to go to France and stock up with Spitfire than buy it on his doorstep! :?

But I wasn't a fan - I prefer Doom Bar or Proper Job.

Guiness, it's available and consistently good anywhere I go in the world but I do like a pint or two of Dartmoor Brewery Jail Ale when the sun shines.

My local does a pale hand pulled real ale called Dizzy Blonde, I’m rather partial to a pint or two of that.

In fact that’s probably what I will have later this afternoon before dinner :D

Agree with the Dizzy Blonde dr_john, but personally in front of that I would put Loweswater Gold (absolute nectar) and Swan Blonde
