faulty folding mirror

my driver side folding mirror refuses to fold now. tried to search for a solution but no luck, it is supposed to replace the whole mirror.

has anyone got any idea/experience such as fixing the motor for folding function?

Can't help with your specific problem but i have a complete drivers side power fold mirror if its that & the ecu control module that sits under dashboard should you be needing parts :thumbsup:
 
i can live with a car without folding mirror as this Z4 is my first car with folding mirrors but just curious if there is any cheap fix..
