Fault Codes - what do they mean?

My C110 code reader arrived today, so have just plugged it in. I have the three lights up (ABS/Brake/DSC), so was looking to see if I could pinpoint the issue. This is what the reader shows:

5DF0 Hydraulic unit: pump motor
5DF1 Hydraulic unit: pump motor connector fault

Does anyone have any idea what these mean?

I also have these fault codes:
6128 Vehicle speed
13 Roof Control button, short circuit when closing (caused by Gaptech?)
2A87 Exhaust VANOS, mechanism

Not sure if these could be old faults, although maybe the last one could be linked to the occasional emissions light which comes on?

Means your ABS/DSC unit has gone, rather expensive … (think well north of £2k)

I wouldn't take much notice of fault code
After taking my seats out to refurbish them I omitted to disconnect the battery.
After replacing them the dreaded airbag (SRS) light came on
I tried to reset with the B800 tool without any luck, I tried at two independent BMW Specialist without any luck
They all showed 'No fault'
Tried another Indy who used a Bosch Diagnostic machine which showed ignition cluster fault but couldn't he clear it and said he had no idea what it could be
I was then recommended a guy who had a Snap On diagnostic machine
He struggled to find any faults but persevered and eventually found a fault code showing that the fault was on my rear near side seat belt tensioner
He cleared the fault and the light has remained off ever since
Question?
Have I got the only z4 with FOUR seats??????

So if it's my ABS/DSC unit, is it repairable? £2k++ seems a hell of a lot - like a third of the value of the car!!! If it is removed, can the car still be used in the meantime?

It seems that 2007 units can not be split, whilst for other models the pump can be repaired for about £500 (some sort of kit).
