The engine has been running fine, but just after filling up with the usual grade of fuel albeit from a different filling station the engine light came on in the next 15 miles.
Checking with a generic OBD2 device, the code P1132 was logged with no other fault. Web search gives this as the error, HO2S 2 Bank 2 Dynamic Test Failure.

Clearing the code and the fault code returns in the next 30 miles.

Question is, is the the oxygen sensor after the cat for Bank 2 or pre-cat?

Car is 3.0Si E86

As an aside, my guess is that the Pre-cat O2 sensor Bank 2 has been changed from the original as the cable cover is grey rather than the Bank 1 cable that is black.

Both pre-cat sensors have different colours so doesn't necessarily mean one has been replaced. I believe P1132 is the precat so easy to replace yourself, except for the bracket I the way (which I didn't replace). BOSCH sensors are about half the price of OE.

I have a similar issue. am I right in thinking there are two sensors pre cat one with a grey cable and one black.

Are the 2 sensors different and not interchangeable?

Am I right in thinking that if I look at my engine from drivers side that the sensor on the left near that awkward bracket is bank 1 and the one on the right is bank 2 ?

Other way around I think.
