Fastest 0-60 Times

What is the fastest 0-60 time you have recorded in your Z4? It would help to state the year, model, method used, and conditions tested. I'll start:

2006 3.0i (Stock)
6-Speed Auto
Sport Mode & manual shift mode on
Level Grade, 65 Degrees F, No passenger

0-60 mph: 5.74 sec (average 2 way using Dynolicious)

Roughly 5.8 seconds using stopwatch (average 2 way)

Yes, these numbers are a bit quicker than what this car should be running, though from what I can tell, the car has not been modified at all. Granted, this is not a scientific measurement. The car certainly feels quite fast for what it is. In fact, below 80 mph, it feels just as fast as the 2009 Porsche Cayman I road-tested a few days ago. Above 80, the Porsche's power advantage starts to show.

Sounds right to me, the GTEC timer thingy I had before was always pretty accurate on cars I tested....

5.7 for a 250bgp FC 20vt
6.1 for my std FC 20vt
5.4 for a E46 M3 Evo
6.1 for a mates 200bhp TDI Ibiza (remaped)

If anything its slightly generous. Cannot remember many other figures, tested a fair few cars with it, inc a 1.2 Zetec fiesta at 15 seconds I think! Not bothered doing the Z yet.

I've got Dynolicious, but can't get the damn thing to work properly so have given up with it. That and not being able to find a suitable road ever

G-tech Pro RR had mine at 5.77s to 60mph without rollout.

Rollout can shave another 0.3s off, so check that is de-activated.

About 3.7 in my skyline gtr running 640+ bhp and 4.1 in my evo 8 running 410 bhp, lotus V8 was 5.2, cerebra was about the same

Not tested the Z4 yet but previously at Santa Pod recorded:

Westfield Seiw - 0-60 in 3.9 secs.

Only 200 BHP too!!

PocketDyno (iPhone) gave me 5.86 seconds to 60. Need to do a few more and take an average though to be sure.
