Farewell my love Zed

Oh no Jo - don't go! (couldn't resist sorry) - hope you still make it to a few forum runs - think we might have to start arranging exmembers meets too soon!

Well done on the sale! Goes to show what a detailed ad and some *ahem* top quality photos will do  Also, I think when a car is that loved it does show and makes for an easier sale.

I wonder if the new owner will be able to get it to rev above 3,500rpm? :P

Oddly, that you did manage to get up towards the red line :o Egged on from the passenger of course :driving:

Hang around miss daisy, get Matt to bring you on a run, be good to see him to.
Definitely... will likely be 2013 now though - especially as a few of you will be wrapping up your cars for winter. Have been too distracted by the 924 (will update that post while I'm here) so be good to be nudged out of retirement!

Seems like I've not been on the forum for ages, but then again...

Good to see some things never change

Okay, so make fun of me! A little distracted the last few weeks and late replying because of the *fun I have been having with the new Golf. As described at length (sorry!) in other thread.

Rev above 3500rpm. Well, the courtesy car Peugeot 107, probably been ragged to over that right?? There ain't even a revometer. Hmm, what a basic car.

You drive like a lunatic most times anyway. You and Malcolm could contend for the top prize

Recently learnt about a VW bottle opener! Do you know about that?? :)

Thanks, I think if I have more problems in future, I will ask the friendly crazy bunch here :)

I adore the colour of Mrs Wilks' car. Lovely, unusual blue. Hey, did you get the privacy glass done yourself?
