I put winters on my new car almost as soon as i picked it up a few weeks back. Even though the temperature has been hovering around the borderline 7C they make a big difference to grip due to the amount of water n the roads. I was lighting the summers up every time I looked at the accelerator.
 
I havent had any problems tbh even when it has been cold, Had the Z4M on the worce side of -8 over passes plenty of times without too much DTC flashing, just take it steady.

Got the mini if it gets really bad so not too worried :)
 
Nope, got mich PS2s on them, and they have got me through all sorts of weather lol. CSLs were getting messy going out on the single track country lanes and a tractor putting me in the verge made me catch one so put the 18s on. Its not a car I use enough to spend another £1000 on a set of tyres when I have the mini too. Just while the mini was being sorted.
