Spent the day at donnington park race track doing the fantastic four driving experience. Had a really great time and would recommend it to anyone, they do single drives and passenger rides.

I did single seater first followed by Ferrari, Aston Martin & Lamborghini.

Misses had a passenger ride in the V8 touring car.

Donington Park is about 10 mins from me.I've done a few track days there on my gsxr bike but I haven't been around in the car.
The track is so smooth,it's well worth a blast round :driving: :thumbsup:
 
I'm only 10min away in shepshed near Loughborough. If you fancy meeting up one day to discuss z4's etc let me know. Ranski on the board regularly comes over.

Mac I've got a £205 voucher for this, a 'vs' experience. However I want to do a weekend so my wife can come and watch. Choice of 4 tracks but I WANT to do Donno. Problem is I also want to do the single seater vs Ferrari, not say Aston vs Ferrari as that's too similar. How was the single seater experience? I'm in Belton literally 3ish miles from you quite often as the in laws are there so might have to pop in sometime for a Z chat!! Drove past a few weeks ago and saw your beauty parked on the drive :)
 
Oh the problem is I've checked their online calendar booking thing but there are no weekends available at Donno for SS vs Ferrari at all, really annoying. There isn't even any dates at Rockingham or Mallory Park either.

The single seaters are great fun but the clutch is very heavy and the gear change is interesting as its on the right hand side!!!

I got 20 mins but was split in two due to a car going off and causing a red flag situation. Once out there you only use 3rd gear on some corners and 4th everywhere else.

Anyway feel free to pop in when passing, if the 5 series and z4 are there then I'm normally in.

Went on a Ferrari driving experience at Donnington which was good although the 360 was a bit tame. Best bit was the passenger ride in the Elise. Boy did he wring everything out of that!!
