OK -
Everyone here understands that when you drive a low or lowered car you risk interference from the roadway.
And those potholes and unforgiving curbs tend to just ruin a sweet ride around town or wherever.
So I admit that I misjudged an entrance to the Dairy Queen and managed to scuff my fang.
Not an extraction, more of a chip.
And like most here, well how can any of us ignore something like that ?
So I braved the elements and got out my various body chemicals and abrasives and started work on my implant.

I know I'm not the only one.
I'm just curious how often Z4M Bumper Fangs need attention.
I promise not to judge
My experience appears to be 3 a year with one of those spiking my obsessive compulsive genes.

I had to touch up the left hand fang after chipping the paint off, misjudged the kerb height in sainsburies car park. Will probably tidy it up better in the summer as the paint match from half fords was quite poor.

Haha you boy;)
I bottomed out reversing off mates drive and slightly rubbed right rear or fang
Learnt slowwwwww it
Down
My mazzers a mare my sump is 2.5 inches off floor bottom out on B roads / road kill / big stones

I jump in my seat trying to lift car haha

I've got a chipped front right fang - tree root in a car park the one time when I fronted in rather than reversing :headbang: Again, glue the chip back in, might need a bit of filler and obviously paint. The chip is sitting on my bedside table staring at me each night...

And that stare follows you around the room, no matter how hard you try to avoid it !
Like that door ding on my front wing, courtesy of a careless Dodge Ram Pick Up Truck passenger door.
That happens to everyone sooner or later. Just a part of driving.
(Although there seems to be a correlation between the possibility of occurrence and how much you value your car)

I filled my chip with epoxy and then some filler putty.
Looks OK so far. Just need to smooth out the putty, but of course as soon as you begin anything like this, winter arrives !
Like we have been blessed with hardly any snow and temps in the positive range for most of the winter.
Start a job like this or consider removing your snow tyres..
Boom - Weather Girl is calling for Minus 20 on Saturday with potential wind chill of Minus 30 !!!

Well that leaves me 2 days to get ambitious .
