Fang issue

I can do bumper removal and fitting :D

...but there's a great guide on here that even I managed to follow.

If only you were local, as haven't really got the right car to transport a spare bumper

I have been reading through the guides and does seem not too bad...but given I felt a huge sense of achievement after changing the oil myself using a vacuum pump, it seems a steep curve

Fill it and then wrap them in carbon fibre vinyl for protection and style...?

Not a faux fibre fan, otherwise it would work.

I'd suggested the 3M chip tape over the top, but if it cracked underneath it would be visible.

New bumper, it's the only way to satisfy the OCD, I'll be doing the same next year, although my fangs are worse than yours. New bumper, £460, sell your old one for £

job done and end of thread....

it'll cost you hardly nothing in the end and you've got the paint work deal waiting to sort you out.... why is this even a question?? do it right and just be uber careful when parking with the new one.

Its actually pretty darn easy… any body shop worth their salt should be able to get that done for you..

or even better, DIY it..

Ians guide is very good, and you can get rid of those pesky ugly headlight sprayers at the same time :D

thats a very good write up of fixing the fang..

cheers

Agree it will be a new bumper. Will wait until spring though and get all this awful weather behind us. Despite my car being a daily drive I never see it in daylight anyway apart from weekends, so 5/7ths of winter I won't notice!

I always reverse into spaces, so short of driving into a rock it should be alright after that.
