Fancy dress ideas needed

I'm attending a fancy dress party on Saturday and the theme is 'Famously Nice or Famously Nasty'. Pre-determined factors are as follows:

1/ Dont want to make a massive effort.
2/ Would quite like that minimal effort to be clever so it looks like I've made an effort.
3/ Not keen on going as an extreme or anybody offensive. Pol Pot, Fred West etc.
4/ Not keen on being one of 28 Simon Cowells.
5/ I own a cowboy hat.

Any ideas are good ideas
