thanks Paddy, the interior looks like it's done 25k not 250! They don't build them like that anymore!
 
I had a 740, and the interiors were indeed a lot better. I did have the high spec leather, but when I sold the car after 7 years it was in a better condition then the leather of my X5 after 2 years ...

Who knows? I thought they were usually good for 140,000 tops. It's always been properly serviced and repaired. Most older BMWs eventually fall off the dealer/indie servicing and only get occasional attention.
 
Love the 8. Many dealers won't work on them though as they are horrifically complex if they go wrong.

Had the sort of features on it in 1992 that were revolutionary but commonplace today - DSC, for example....and it was the first car with fly by wire throttle...
 
They will soon become collectable classis car. If the engine goes, you can still sell parts from the car to recover some money. :rofl:
 
11,000 between oil changes is probably a good reason why its still going, the amount of money in that service book is insane, especially how little the milage goes up with each stamp...
