Fancy a change - Guiseley's new motor *updated with pics*

Nice M3 coupe with DCT and all the trimmings. There are some very nice low mileage cars about.

M3 on my list but mpg pretty crippling - only need 2 seats so can widen the search beyond BMW :o

Well we have a new front runner - tried a Cayman S with pdk yesterday and it was soooo smooth, and plenty rapid too. Might be heading off Stuttgart way!

Anyone know of good Porsche forums for tips?

Guiseley,

I had a cayman s, great car but be prepared for the infamous boot rattle that Is impossible to cure!!

I think the interior of the gen 1 and 2 look very dated now.

Mine used to sound fantastic at full chat down the burley bypass :D

I have spent a good deal of time previously on 911uk , does have Cayman section & lots of great knowledge & organised events :) http://www.911uk.com/viewforum.php?f=13&sid=68c9d4f019f1232944512ecbc00d7386
Can't fault your choice . the 3.4 Cayman is definitely on my "TO DO " list

A friend who's a big Porsche fan and owned a couple of 911s thinks the Cayman S is a better car through the twisties. That said both Paza and another chum have gone the other way and both seem happy. I guess the 911 is a classic and something of a must do for some people

Love my Zc Guiseley but have to say i'm just a little envious of your new motor 8) hope the mags kept your craving at bay temporarily .
pics & spec most welcome when you get the keys & the chance

He got a cayman- nice example and at least he still has one z!

Spoil sport :P - was going to tease them and reveal the answer slowly - serves me right for posting on facebook first!

Gen2 987 Cayman S in Aqua Blue with pdk pasm and Turbo 19"s - pictures later (still 48 hours from collection - not that I'm clock watching!)

For me the Zc is hard to match on looks but the Cayman sure is a close 2nd :) enjoy the buzz of the flat 6
There are many knockers out there of the porsche brand but ownership for a petrolhead is certainly special
on the downside Guiseley i've found myself trawling my old patch on 911uk & looking at pork online  slippery slope

Congrats Tony that is one good looking porker

Thought you might like the colour Chris! Hopefully you'll see it in the flesh at Laine's forum meet in a few weeks.
