Whenever I put my fans on in the car I get a strange clicking noise. The more I turn the fan power up the quicker the clicking becomes. Anybody else had this problem?

Hi, did you ever solve this issue? It's just started on my E86 this afternoon...
Sounds like either something stuck in the fan or a blade catching, you'd have to get it out to see.
I had this issue on a previous car, the fan was left on full for about ten minutes and eventually it was free of debris. About a week or two later I gave it a wash and Hoover and noticed a dirty great big leaf hiding behind the vent. Got it out in the end but I'd put money on debris being your problem. Definatley something being hit by the fan blades
Have you taken out the cabin filter and checked to see how grubby it is?
Cabin filter is a bit of pain to change so it often gets forgotten. You need to get down in the footwell, undo an awkward clip and a couple of screws, pull out the old one (and all the crap that comes with it) and then insert the new filter ensuring you get it the right way round. This is what mine looked like when I did it.
