False tooth-

Hi all-hearing about Carols tooth problem, got me thinking about mine -im due to see the dentist for a checkup in a couple of weeks, and have been debating wether to get a false tooth on a palette-apparantly he told me a few visits ago they are uncomfortable and i would end up not using it-anyone have any thought on this please?-thanks

im a dentist and why get a plate for one missing tooth, why not get a maryland bridge(sticky bridge), they glue a fake tooth to the adjacent neighbouring tooth/teeth. sometimes they come out but if they make them well then they can last ages. dont get fobbed off by them saying they dont last long cos they can but to be fair there are some circumstances when its not advisable to do this type of bridge. best option is abridge and this can be the cheapest option long term.

I need three £6000, nope deposit on a nother car!!! prob that makes me smile when I drive it so toothless smile s**t happens. :?

if you need 3 then get a metal cobalt chrome denture there well fitting, click in place, dont get loose for ages and dont fill your whole mouth with bulky acrylic

I had a bridge done about 50 years ago Still going strong. With regard to a plate my wife had one done about 18 months ago.Cost £189 A COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY.She rarely uses it.
