Hi all, I must hold my hands up, I have enjoyed browsing the forum for a while but this is my first post.
My car is a ///M roadster which I have owned for about six months and is my only car. I'm also a passionate biker and always choose excitement over practicality with my vehicles but over the last months or so my initial love for the car started to fade and my wife moans that it is difficult to drive and uncomfortable.
Last weekend I drove to South Wales using the Top Gear article below as a guide to find the best roads in the Brecon Beacons

I'm pleased to say that I fell back in love with the ///M. The roads, the weather, the scenery and most importantly the car were incredible. I even had the roof down when there was snow on the ground and was impressed by the fuel consumption considering the 'enthusiastic' driving.
My conclusion: I make too many short urban journeys in the ///M on shockingly surfaced Surrey roads causing me to think too much about the crashy ride and interior creaks and squeaks rather than focusing on the plethora of positives of such an engaging car. I think I will get a (very) cheap second car.
I took some pics on the phone some of which I thought came out pretty well, I've tried to post them below.
