My decision to switch paid dividends today, the Vreds helped me get home from the lake District starting off with 4 miles down an un-gritted road

I find the vred even worse then my old bridgestones rft in snow!

Thanks. Yeah I was quite nervous setting off, and got a few puzzled looks from the Land Rover drivers I passed. I was pleasantly surprised by the handling, the boot was full so should have helped with the traction.

Needless to say I don't plan on using it in the snow again in a hurry!
