Had a pair of these fitted to the rear on Tuesday to replace the original OEM continentals.

300 miles later they seem very good.

I've not pushed them in the corners yet (thought i'd give them a couple of hundred miles more first) but wet traction in a straight line is much better than the OEM continentals, they inspire confidence in the corners and are quieter too.

At £156 per tyre, fitted, they are very reasonably priced too.

Will be interesting to see how they perform over the winter and how long they last.

Looks very similar to the older Continental SC2/SC3 and PS2 patterns - maybe under licence, or just similar but with their own rubber compounds :?
Especially the middle three sections are really similar to the Sport Contact 3.

I found the SC3s were completely useless in the snow. The middle three sections of the tyre are virtually just solid rubber, with no cross-tread. Once they start to wear a bit they just become solid rings. If you look at a winter tyre you can see the difference.

They look like being pretty decent summer tyres and good value at that but I wouldn't be relying on them to go too far in the snow.

Just to add, as my previous post sounds a bit negative, I don't think they will be any worse than the OEM Conti's in the snow.

And I do like them

Costco 20% off Michelin tires starts nov 5 th a little to late for myself as just purchased FK452 for the front not fitted as yet

Thanks - will check them out. Will very soon need a rear pair. Was thinking the Michelin Pilot Super Sport seem to be the daddy.

£156 was indeed fitted. That was at my local independent tyre place that is always very reasonable and usually cheaper than I can find on line.

It is certainly not a snow tyre but from first impressions will be ok in the wet and cold. It's not like I push the car in those conditions anyway.

Snow is rarely on the roads for long in this country so I'm not too bothered about their snow performance.
