Falken 452s

Just had 2 rear Falkens fitted to my Z. They do make a big difference to the ride quality - £295 fitted and balanced - fair price?

I only got about 6k miles out of them on my Audi. I think I paid about 78 per corner for 18s from Camskil. Everyone rates the 452s but I actually thought the ziex were better on my e90. Did 14k miles on them and still had plenty of life in them. Also thought they were better in wet weather and less road noise.

I have Falken FK452s on my E39 M5 and have been very happy with them. They were the best bang-for-the-buck when I was buying, and after 12,000 miles there's still 4mm on the rears and 6mm on the fronts.

I believe that they have recently been replaced by the FK453s.

Of course, should have added that fronts will last longer than rears - if your car doesnt have a staggered wheel set up, you can alternate the front and rears to make them last longer

Thanks folks - haven't noticed increased road noise but always driving with roof down and mostly foot down. I have 255s on the back and 225 on the front - any comments about same width tyres front and back - the 225 falkens were easily available and much cheaper than the relatively rare 255s.

anyone know about french prices with the euro 20% up on last year may be crossing the channel may save a few bob......especially if you were going any way....¿
