Hi all, Just discovered I have punchture in my N.S.R. and you guessed it`s right on the edge. The tyres I have on are Falken 452. To be honest I didn`t really look that hard at the time of buying the car and just thought they were run flats, still not sure. would any one know for sure? Seen the price £121 plus carrage.

Cheers.

452's are Non R/flat tyres so the previous owner must have ditched the runflats, your car may have been an ex forum members car as 452's are very popular on here.

Def not run flats, I changed from the standard bridgestone run flats in jan to falken 452's and am much happier with them

To change you'd have to buy at least 2 tyres and ideally 4, if going back to rft's. Price for that would be nearer the £800 to £1,000 supplied and fitted.

Many many have switched to non rif's and not changed back inc me on my second set of FK452's

Shoulders can be repaired but not many places. One by me Junc 11 M27 Hampshire if it helps.

Defo not run flats, but £121 plus posting seems too much. On event-tyres.co.uk your tyre would be £111.40, and that includes fitting at a location of your choice! I've used the company before and have been really happy with the service.

Edit. Sorry just realised you said rear, not front, in which case price at event is £142.50, so not so good. Still includes fitting though.

I worked at Chessington tyres in Bognor for two years in the 1990s and we used a firm to do major repairs could this be the one.
Yes it would he helpful only because the tyre has plenty of tread still left on it.
Can you give me the address, is it possible to wait for it or would I have to leave it with you. I am off work this week painting so could pop over any day.
Cheers.
