Hi all took the plunge today got a nice new set of Falken 452's would just like to know what you think the best pressure should be, the fitter set them as per sticker inside door 34 F 37 R it still seems to be quite a harsh ride. 07 3si roadster.
Thanks

Way too high. I'd be in the region of 32R 30F and have settled through 1 set and into my second
At those pressures you'll wear the tyre centre out pretty quick

Thanks cj10jeeper and Ewazix I will give that a try I would think it will settle down the ride as well.
Edit I take it that the stock pressure is only good for runflats!

Manufacturers pressures are always for a stock car, stock tyre, etc. As soon as you change anything you need to work out new settings. Perhaps one of the reasons RFT's are so crashy is they have high pressures and this reduce the effective suspension

^^^ CJ is correct in regards to the pressure being recommended for OEM mounts (read RFT) On non-RFT fitted applications, 3 to 5 pounds less than the spec will offer more even wear.

Hi guys,
I'm in the same boat here.
Just changed from runflats to Falken 452s on my Z4coop (18's)

Is 30F / 32R the general concenus then ?

on my last zed i ran 31f and 33r on the falken 452 which ever way you look at it they should be lower than what the sticker or handbook says

I started off around 32f 34r but dropped to 31f 33r after a while, but have now settled on 30f 32r. Seems to work for me and tyres are wearing evenly (well, near enough).

I found 34 r and 33 f works best for my car . 3.0 I. Roadster with powerflex bushes and eibacs springs . I was running at lower presure but found the handiling a bit boatie but the higher pressure seems to have sorted this out not to bothered about tyre wear so much as I do no miles at all but all looks good to me .oh by the way tyres where srubed in and had 4 wheel alignment done on both pressures.

Just found this thread - will try my new Falkens on 30/32 as the tyre shop filled them to match the OEM tyre settings. :?

Turns out the tyre shop had filled mine to 35.5/38.5...!

Have reduced to 30/32 - went for a 20 min buzz around town and countryside, seems very different, maybe almost a little too soft (can't believe I'm saying that!). Will try 32/34 at the weekend.

Just to follow up on this, the 30/32 on the Falkens is great - car sits nicely, responds well, lots of grip and very little tram lining.
