Falken 452 question

I have had my falkens since friday and have done 250 miles on them, mainly motorway. It may be just me but the ride feels HARDER and more bumpy than the runflats. I am running 30f 32r. Do they take time to bed in etc?

It's just you.
There is no comparison between these and the RFT's (assuming you had the Bridgestones) They are a country mile smoother

Pressures sound about right, but check the 'official Falken 452 pressure thread for what others are using.

Maybe bedding in still?

They do feel a bit floatier and aloof for the first few hundred I'd say, mine now feel a lot better, probably only 300 miles but almost all on roads with corners/braking etc and scrubbing them down!

GIve them a week of normal driving and see... :)

Yep i also seem to remeber like many other brands the first few hundred miles felt worse, less grip and less secure. However mine now feel alot more grippy thant the brudgestone run flats. They should also feel a bit softer though but i wonder what pressures you had in your run flats?

IMO, Falkens are terrible terrible tyres. Ditch Seekers!!! Esp the 512!

You may be right about 512 as i've never tried them but 452's are miles better than Bridgestone Runflats. It would be great to try out other brands to see how they compare on a Z but I have never had the opportunity.

Have you tried the 452's at all?

I hated the P6000's, but the P Zero Nero's on the same car were a revelation...

Can't really judge the 452's on the 512 performance if that is what you have done... I also thought the T1-R would be great after the T1-S, but I found them shockingly crap...

Haha, it really is a case of trying and seeing, unfortunately, and now and again you are not happy and it costs you a bit :(
