falkan fk452

.............I would like to add that I have never driven a Z4 on falcons. So maybe they are different on that chassis. I have only driven them on a R32 golf and a EVO.

Maybe that's the point, I can well imagine that a car with a weight bias in front of the wheels and tendency towards understear will lean more heavily on a (driven) front tyre, than say a Zed, hence maybe a Falken may not suit you/your driving style for a R32.

I can only echo others in saying that the Falken 452s transformed the Bridgstone RFTs nasty tramlining, mid corner bump-steer and crashing. Yes slightly softer turn in but much faster A to B on real roads because more tread is in contact with the road more of the time - pointing in the intended direction.

IMO the Falken 452 is a good performance tyre that happens to suit the Zed, but accept that more expensive alternatives may be slightly 'better', however the original spec Bridgstone RFT is not one of them.

levels you would expect from a budget tyre like the toyo T1R, nankang NS2s etc.

I can't see how these two tyres are in the same bracket? I found T1R to be a good tyre, possibly better than the 452 which I also rate highly.
