Falcon FK452 & Kerbing

Hi All,

Just a heads up to anyone looking for tyres for their Z. Having read lots of information on this forum I decided to buy a set of Falken FK452s and a set of CSL replicas.

I'm really happy with the tyres other than the near non-existant rim protectors. Bridgestones have near double the rim protection.

billystar it doesn't matter how careful you are , just when you least expect it you will hear that stomach turning noise of a curb on your alloys happens to us all

Hi. Unfortunately I put a set of Falken 452s onto my E46 M3. The lack of rim protector was a real nightmare! The tyres appeared to be "stretched" over the rims despite the fact that they were technically the correct size. Handling characteristics were ok, but I WILL NEVER BUY FALKENS AGAIN!

My new tyres on my Z4 are Eagle F1 Assymetric 2. They are (non-runflat) BRILLIANT!

Falken 452's are a budget trye at the end of the day.
Mid-range, really. When you consider the amount of stuff that's below them and the pricey 'performance' ones above, they're not a cheap option, by any shot. They're the 'bang per buck' option, definitely.

Only if you can't park properly

Parking a foot from the kerb doesn't count :poke: :P

I no longer hold with parallel parking - I will walk as far as I have to in order to avoid damaging my darling's pretty feet
