Hi guys
Just failed my Zeds 1st MOT with me as the owner. Pretty shocked as it failed on both rear springs being broken. I was quoted£250 to have springs fitted by the garage doing the MOT. I've since fitted them myself with the assistance of a mate whos job it was to apply his weight at the appropriate time. Total time including cup of tea? .................45minutes
Easy peasy so glad I didnt pay for the fitting.
The thing is that I had only just had the cars alignment checked not 20 minutes before the mot fail, presumably during an alignment check the actual suspension components aren't checked? I would have thought that a broken spring would affect the adjustments made? Simple question is will my alignment require an additional check in light of the spring replacement? If so I would think I would have just cause to request this free of charge :|
Any thoughts gratefully received
Cheers
