Factory configuration

Evening folks. I've only had my Z4 for just over a week so far. I was wondering if anyone knows if there's a web site where you can enter your registration number and you can find out the factory configuration of your car? I have no idea if my car is black, sapphire black or jet black!

I've been able to find a site for our Ford Smax so i was hoping something was available for BMWs.

the logbook shoud tell you- there are some tyre companys that tell u as well if u search ur lience plate

sapphire black is metallic (silvery flakes). Jet black is just that-non metallic.

In the engine bay there is a sticker near the hinge that will tell you the color and the number. In the US the sticker is on the drivers side.
