Facelift

Hi all

New to this, and was wondering what is ment by pre facelift

I have the Z4 2003 plate,what would you classify as?

That'd be a pre face lift. the yellow indicators on the head lights are the giveaway.

Someone with a better memory will be along soon. sometime around '06 there was a design revision - facelift. new bumper, headlights, rear lights and engine plus a few other bits.

Rectangular front fog lights on post face lift instead of round ones is the easiest way to tell the difference.

Unless somebody has change the front end to post face lift. :wink:

Bumpers and lights are the only indication I can think of though except for some wheels and ginger indicators, again unless they have been changed for clear ones.

my pre facelift has new headlights (Xenons)fitted by previous owner,in 2010,and these have the amber headlights,

Yeah there were a limited number of pre facelift 'clear' xenon units. All other pre facelift Xenons had orange indicators.

Pre & Post facelift Xenons aren't interchangeable

A clear pair from BMW will set you back c.£1400
