Facelift Roadster roof question

Hello people.
I have a facelift Roadster and..
I noticed today that when the top was down, it didn't seem to sit flush with the Hoop section across the entire leading edge of the roof which is nearest the roll bars (it stops about half an inch higher than it would if were sitting flush). The roof light does go off so the roof does not want to travel any further down.

I did try and push it down with reasonable force but this didn't make it sit any lower. ( It did move downwards with the pressure, but then came back to its original position as I released the pressure)

The rear of the hood sits flush with the bodywork (the leading edge of the boot) however. Do I have a roof problem or do your roofs' also sit like this when in down position?

I tried to search on here and look through loads of pics but couldn't get any real close ups to compare. I did read about a clicking problem on here, but that refers to prefacelift cars with 2 latches. (mine has just one in the center)

I do have a warranty, but wanted to check if it is a problem or normal.

Cheers,

J.

Take a square on side photo so we can see the line up the boot lid and across the folded roof to give opinion.

It may be that the fabric has just adopted the wrong folding pattern when retracting and needs 'training'
