Facelift rear lights and ARB bushes

Hi guys,

2 really quick questions before I get started on the work.

First up:

Are these the right bushes for a 2.2i 2005. I'm pretty sure they are, I had checked realoem for the ARB sizes but don't want to get the old bushes off and find out they're wrong...

Second question:

I've bought facelift rear lights, I was under the impression that it was as simple as "plugin and recode the LCM for facelift lights in SSS"? I've since read a bit more and understand that there may be different coding needed and moving wires around? (If it came to it, could someone help out with this who's a bit better with the coding than I am?)

Any help appreciated or a link to a fifi notice answer, I just wanted to be 100% on both before I start chopping and changing.

I can't remember the size of my old ARB. But I am sure they are all the same. Sport models are bigger and the M ones bigger again.

At a guess I would say will be good. You might want to get new brackets from BM to hold them. The old ones will be rusty and nasty.

Hi Ranski, I had looked at that thread but had seen conflicting information. The main post suggests cutting and moving wires, but then someone else suggested recoding the LCM with something in German. I have then myself seen an option in SSSv32 suggesting you can just tick "retrofit rear lights". That's why I wanted to be sure as there seems to be a couple of ways and I wanted the least messing and someone's recent personal experience. Which option did you take?

Cheers MM, do you know if the brackets are expensive?

Hoping someone can add more to this. Still really confused about the rear lights, hoping someone who's good at coding can give an input (mac maybe?)

I believe the lights work straight away after fitting, but give off a T effect, so you need to recode them to remove the vertical light.
