Facelift indicators fitted :o)

Fitted the facelift indicators today :) I had thought of spraying them up in a matt silver or wrapping them in a matt chrome but think the effect would have been lost against the silver paintwork. Quite chuffed with them and a big improvement over the white lenses.

thanks for the pics they certainly improve the look good to see them on a lighter coloured zed more money to be spent :D

Cheers jabber, my only thought is they'll be a pain to remove if the LEDs fail :|

I can understand now why they have the tab that slots in the bodywork as you don't have any opportunity to position them once you push them home as the double sided tape sticks immediately it contacts the bodywork. I'm guessing the tab is purely to aid locating the indicator correctly.

I know many don't like chrome but personally I like it as have the chrome gills on the Z3 so natural for me to fit these on the Z4, I'm not so sure on darker colours though as they would stand out a fair bit, I do feel they look much better than the cheap looking white indicator covers though :?

Still not sure.. The chrome fits with the grills and headlights but clashes a bit with the 313 wheels which are smoked so I think I may go satin on them to dull them a bit. Wrapping seems a good bet so I can reverse them if I hate it.

No rush at the mo, the new dog is taking all my time!

Nice!

Pay day yesterday. Full tank of fuel, another tank and mortgage etc budgeted for.

Left with £70 for the month!

No new indicators for me this month! Boo!!!!

Its not so much the colour of the prefacelift indicators but that they look a tad cheap and a little out of keeping on the Z4, compared to the old model Z4 which I really like :)
