Facelift headlight install on pre-facelift z4 - working

Well done - I have a similar issue that I've been meaning to fix but been reluctant to try SSS software for fear of throwing up the mileage tamper dot - but maybe your new LCM might help - you have a PM.

To avoid the tamper dot, you will need to set the Mileage and VIN number using BMW Scanner 1.4 (SSS wont do it). The steps are very simple : http://www.muga-uk.co.uk/bmwsoftware/PAsoft-LCM-Coding-v1.1.pdf.
To code the LCM, you will need SSS... it's really very very simple to do.
