Just took delivery of a new set of facelift E85 foglights from Eurocar parts, £124 all in. Seems a reasonable price compared to double that at the dealers. This was listed as a 'special' so not sure if still available at this price.
These are manufactured by Magnetti Marelli and at first glance seem ok, I don't know whether they are OEM. In order to prolong their life, I want to add an extra sealant product around the joint. Silicone seems the obvious choice but after a while it starts to degrade. Has anyone any experience with these and can recommend what type of sealant to use? They come with the black bracket so hopefully fitting should be a doddle.
They also come with a 55W lamp, I'd like to upgrade this to an an LED lamp, can anyone recommend which type/supplier/power?
