I have two OEM clear headlights available for sale as i mentioned on another post. I have had lots of PMs so thought it best to get all the details and pictures up give everyone fair warning, and allow people to see details
They may not be suitable for everyone so take time to look through the details
They are original Halogen
They are retrofitted with HID xenon bulbs and ballast
They have clear indicator lenses (no dating amber) and Black inners
I had them fitted to my pre facelift 3.0i for about a year before selling. They will connect straight to a prefacelift car with halogen lamps and have full functionality, no warning lights.
I fitted HIDs to give an upgrade to xenon and was very pleased with the results, no issuues with MOT and informed Insurance co, again no issue. However opinion is divided on these as you'll see if you search the forum.
Option for new owner is to keep the HID Xenon or just simply replace the bulbs with the standard (H7 IIRC) bulb, and resolder the wires.

this has a repaired lug that was done prior to my purchase - strong and intact
left side
this left side is damaged. This is the reason they were off the car when I sold it as I was planning on repairing it. The vertical adjuster is snapped (the white plastic bit on the close up photo) I dont know if I did this over tightening the adjustment knob. The bulb angle slightly down and can't be adjusted. This is a serious problem as it is as it will not pass MOT.
it also has had a repaired broken lug
The options as I see it are
1) Repair the white bit - perfectly possible but will require some technical skill
2) Or, use as a doner facelift light for OEM lens to fit to original pre facelift headlight to "de-tango/de-amber". in the "cut and shut" type method pioneered by CJ10-jeeper and follwed by other forum members ( I think peddy and others) - Search will reveal.
Right side £120
Left side £80
I would prefer to meet in person and exchange cash (dont understand paypal) (or computers very much for that matter!) and am happy to meet half way providing not a huge distance
Alternatively could post - but will have to price up costs
