Has anyone got a simple list of what should be serviced and when on the above model please?
Also, what the official recommended mileage at which the timing chain, pulleys and belts should be changed, and what’s the rough garage costs of getting the work done?

Lastly, is there anything else that should be swapped out based on mileage according to the servicing schedule?

Thanks folks

Sequence should follow
Oil - ins1- oil - Ins2 - oil etc

This is a brief summary but many like myself will change oil yearly /7k

Oil & filter 2 years / 16k
Every 50k - 6 years with oil service, plugs / air filter / cabin filter ( technically Ins2)

Every 2 yrs brake fluid

Coolant I would change no later than 4yrs
Gearbox oil anytime 60k-100k not normally a bmw service requirement, same with diff oil.

You might also want to consider a cam cover gasket change from 60k-75k as they commonly show signs of weeping by then & 100k or over & possibly 13/14yrs old I'd expect it to already been changed.

Timing chain not a serviceable item.

Interesting to hear that's a common thing. The first one I've looked at had an invoive for it, not a cheap job!
