Very interesting thread, as now I'm getting on in years I quite fancy a smooth-riding (OK, it's all relative) SE but wouldn't want the SE seats thanks! (Or some of the colour schemes/trim options - wooden dash in a Z4C just doesn't work for me)!
But as someone has pointed out, getting SE suspension for a Sport is probably much cheaper than getting Sport seats for an SE!
I don't know about roadsters, but production numbers of UK spec. Coupes indicate that there are far more Sport models than SE's, so it is also an easier option....
