Face lift front bumper

My 03 bumper had lots of stone chips and a crack by one of the lights, so I thought it was about time to get it repaired. But after reading a post by cj10 I thought about a face lift bumper. I found one on ebay, ended up paying £30 for it (a real bargin). The bumper skin had no fittings on it, so I needed the lower grill (It just clips into place), the fog lights and fastening screws, side reflectors and nuts plus the tow eye cover, it all came to about £230 (fog lights were about £170, but you can buy blanks for about £38). Got my local body shop to prepare and spray it £120 (cash). All that was left now was to fit it :( . Actually I was quite easy, the new bumber uses all the excisting fittings. Took me about 3 hours. Hope you like the result :D

Nice job - pleased my write up was of some use.....
Looks like you got great prices on Ebay for the bits and byt he time you add the extras it's a great sub £400 all-in mod.

It makes such a difference. You will now get asked about it with amber indicators and facelift front . Z's stop and ask 'how?'

You know I'm going to say fix the lights for perfection...lol

Looks good, the black grill complements really well, tint them indicator lenses like i have just done.....

Can you take a side, or 3/4 picture please? I'm curious!

Does the bumper have the orange insert on the sides as well (or, clear in the UK)? If/When I re-bumper, I'd like to change it up, but also lose my side orange reflectors I've been stuck with.

Reach - I'm not sure how it works by state in the US but some appear to have the round reflectors in the front cover (which I think are really ugly, others seem to use the more diamond shaped at the top rear of the cover http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=4732. If you find one with those you could use UK clear reflector inserts like this. They look really good and complement the design of the clear reflector

Just a thought
