Face lift fog lamps

I have moisture build up on my fogs... I looked last night at whipping them off and drying them out but couldn't fathem how to remove them.

I see there's one screw going up through the bumper into a bracket, but once that's out how else are they fixed? You obviously must be able to get at them to replace the bulb if it blows.

Help on this one would be appreciated.

Well known problem on the facelift models unfortunately..

Mines in at the dealers as we speak to have new ones fitted amongst other things but dont get me started on that one!!!

I had mine replaced under warranty so I'm not 100% sure but I believe you'll find an access panel in the wheel arch. Hopefully you should be able to remove them with out taking the bumper off. Good luck

Hi Chris Geezer.
To change a standard bulb in the Z4 coupe headlights, you access the back of the lights through a small panel the the wheelarch (turn the wheels so that they are facing inwards to get easiest access. It only take a small turn of 2 plastic screws and the panel comes off very easily and you will have full access to the back of the headlights. I didnt check at the time, but I am guessing you could get access to the back of the fog lights the same way.

I will actually check this out for myself on the weekend and confirm if you can access the fog lights this way (if you dont check it out for yourself before me). 8)

hi chris having my fogs replaced under warranty next week but the best way to get to them is to take the bumper off quite any easy job there is a link on this site if anyone can help with that thanks :)
